Re: Upminster Shooting
More and more rumours doing the rounds on this but now being told the dad got the gun from wherever it was being stored to then attack the intruders. Went to shoot the 4th one who went out the back door and shot at him and caught the kid either directly or by ricochet. This would explain the gun not having to be loaded already as if he got to the gun he'd also know where the shells were to. Again I don't know if this is true but would be plausible.

If it is true however you would wanna top yourself having shot your kid albeit accidentally.

It's quite obvious. He's Joe C. It says it just above the words he writes.

Well having done this myself I'm going to have call bollocks on your post.

I have visited many clay shooting grounds, none of whom have stored cartridges for individuals (as opposed to selling them).

Which one did you go to which stored cartridges for you?

Re: Upminster Shooting
Thinking about it maybe I was buying them when I got there? It's a long time since I went shooting. Used to enjoy it but all my local 'clubs' were shit, used to have to pay a fortune and travel miles to a good one. I think I must have ordered them up in advance or something.

I'm saying, I don't think so. Read it again son. Take one of your tablets, have a cry on the 'wah, I can't cope with life' thread and shut the fuck up.

Your theory makes no sense.

We had a known drug dealer round our way shot dead about 10 years ago in his home after a night out. Shooter never found.

Desperate drug dealers robbing their own kind, no surprise at the outcome

Re: Upminster Shooting
Westside, I read it as gun at home , cartridges at the club.

A lot of clay shooting clubs/shooting grounds don't sell cartridges. It requires greater security (cost) to do so, than just running the shooting ground.

Some do sell them of course, but they only sell, they aren't allowed to store ammunition for third parties.

Classic vexed, ignoring what was said to make a point.

I’ll write it in separate words so you have time to process each one.

They. Knew. It. Was. There

Do you get it now spazwomble?

Re: Upminster Shooting
Most genuine gun club types keep theirs at the club so that people don't break in and shoot your kids or something.

No, individuals are licenced to own shotguns, so they have to keep them at home and can't be stored at gun clubs.

Re: Upminster Shooting
I think the idea is to get in and out as quickly as possible if you're doing the burgling? Not do a crystal maze style puzzle to find and unlock the gun and then the shells and then shoot an 11 year old to win a fucking crystal. They already had all the fucking crystals!

Nah, I'd bet on loaded gun in the house, shooting the result of a scuffle with a burglar. Poor kid in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Re: Upminster Shooting
Vexed, they obviously knew who and what they were looking for, maybe they brought their own shells with them, hence the shouting for "where's the safe"?

Re: Upminster Shooting
Both gun and ammo should be locked away separately. Most genuine gun club types keep theirs at the club so that people don't break in and shoot your kids or something.

There's a lot more to this one for sure.

Re: Upminster Shooting
Or did the seemingly telepathic 'burglars' find the gun then drive off to the clay pigeon club, break in, find some ammo,

Why would they bother to do that? Perfectly legal to keep shot gun ammunition at home, unlocked.

The shotgun itself must be locked away, in a purpose built gun safe. Which should (not compulsory) be kept out of sight. So how they found the gun safe and the keys, is a bit of a mystery.

Unless the gun was being cleaned at the time, of the break in.
